31 Nights of Horror, Night 16: The Collection
Three sentence review:
Don’t think too hard while watching this one; The Collection is by no definition a “smart” movie, but it’s a solid and action packed sequel to 2009’s The Collector. Somehow the guy that made it out of the first movie is kidnapped from his hospital recovery room to help THE MOST ROUGHNECK AND ROWDY BUNCH OF MERCENARIES IN THIS TOWN find a spoiled rich girl who was abducted and hidden in The Collector’s lair. The gnarly opening scene could be recycled for Final Destination 6, and the booby traps within the killer’s warehouse are a lot like the Saw franchise – which makes sense given the writers of this film wrote the last four Saw movies.
