31 Nights of Horror, Night 24: The Descent

Three sentence review:

The Descent is slowly becoming one of my favorite go-to movies because A.) it’s just as strong after multiple viewings and B.) it’s a fantastic choice to watch with a group of girlfriends (it features a bunch of badass lady spelunkers). This movie gets me every time because of the many intense low-ceiling cave crawling scenes that trigger my claustrophobia. I also love The Descent because the cave monsters are not even the most horrific part (they’re pretty silly actually); it’s the monsters among us that we should fear.
