31 Nights of Horror V, Night 1: The Witch

Three sentence review:

Evil takes many forms in The Witch, my favorite horror from 2016 and possibly in the last five years. Outstanding acting, unsettling atmospheres, and one damn mean goat make up for the tough-to-follow 1600s dialogue and slowly built up scares. Yes, Black Phillip, I do want to live deliciously.

How to get extra nerdy:

  1. Drink the Black Phillip Cider from Blake’s Hard Cider (MI)
  2. Listen to the Radiohead song “Burn the Witch” immediately afterwards while drunk off of Black Phillip Cider
