31 Nights of Horror V, Night 23: The Conjuring 2

Three sentence review:

I have mixed feelings about James Wan’s The Conjuring 2 but on the whole they are mostly positive. There were moments where I was very scared (the portrait of the nun in the Warren’s office) and others where I felt the movie dragged and I started looking at my phone. Two things are certain, though: Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmigia are both treasures of the horror genre whom I adore, and “The Nun” should’ve been played by Detox.
