This record by Gnarls Barkley is a FANTASTIC choice for your Halloween cocktail party. Sultry smooth. The spooky lyrics seem simple enough on the surface but have a much more insightful meaning. And it’s a deep enough cut from their mega-hit “St. Elsewhere” album to satisfy your hipster friends. Interesting note: “The Boogie Monster” samples a tune from 1966 called “Ku Klux Klan Sequence”.
