Hey - you. Yeah, you. Scrolling through ALL of the horror content bc you’re a horror maniac like me. Here is an IMPORTANT reminder: don’t solely watch or not watch horror movies based on the opinions of internet strangers. FORM YOUR OWN OPINIONS. We are addicted to the ratings game. The Rotten Tomatoes score, the IMDB rating, whatever. And I get it - it helps you avoid shit and maximize your viewing or whatever. But fuck it. If something sounds decent give it a gosh dang chance. Form your own thoughts and don’t be too chicken shit to express them. Anyway, We Summon the Darkness was an average, watchable film that put me in a good mood at 1 am yesterday. It was JUST OKAY. And you know what? That’s exactly what the hell I needed. I almost didn’t watch it bc of the IMDB score. It was OKAY. Even if it royally sucked, I felt almost a weird sense of freedom just saying fuck it and going for it. ENJOY the opinions of others but don’t let them sway yours. LONG LIVE THE UNBIASED EXPLORATION OF ALL THINGS HORROR. 💀
