31 Nights of Horror V, Night 11: Waxwork (1988)
Three sentence review:
Waxwork is a gloriously 80s horror/mystery about a group of rich white teens who fall victim to the dark magic of their local wax museum. It is overly acted, includes cheesy 80s music, and has more than several goofs throughout the 95 minute run time. However, I recommend it because the special effects are SOLID, the classic Universal Monsters are awesome, and as a lover of horror history the whole movie just feels like wearing a cozy oversized 80s sweater.
